For the Whitewater Proposal Studio 9 chose to let the architecture emerge out of the local Kootenay culture and ecology. Our design strategy, branded as 'Adept', focuses on modularity and utilizing locally sourced and reclaimed materials to create a highly functional, multi-use and low impact development.
When completed, this residence will be one of the few projects in British Columbia that will be a Net Zero home and LEED Homes Certified. The project is aiming for LEED Platinum.
